My Opinion About DeansBoys:
While I have no real idea who Dean Berkley is, I assume he's been around on other internet sites or at least in some DVD movies. I can tell you that he does have a lot of cute friends and this is his personal site, so you get to see him fucking around with the lot of them, or at least I assume he would - why wouldn't he?
The design and navigation seem good. There aren't any advertisements scattered around the members' area, although there are extra links and a store listed in the page-top menu. Basically, the menu also leads you to the photo and video gallery, as well as to Dean's personal blog. He doesn't write in it too much. In fact, March 2008 was the last time he had anything to say, and prior to that he didn't write in the blog for five months. This doesn't exactly strike me as a terrific sign.
The content doesn't have dates at all. There are 14 sets of photos and 20 movies. With a bit of research I discovered that this is the exact same amount that's been here for a while. I was able to determine that since July of 2007 there's been two updates. Again, not a good sign. The other thing that sort of irritated me was that most content was solo jerk-offs and Dean Berkley only appears in three videos.
Anyhow, I'm sure plenty of people simply enjoy cute dudes jerking off, it's just too bad they don't do it more frequently around here. The videos are divided into parts and there aren't full episode downloads. The latest movie does have a copyright date of 2005 and the 464kbps 320x240 sort of drives home the fact the films aren't particularly as recent as we're lead to believe. Each part is about seven minutes, and a full video averages 20 minutes. I decided to check out a blowjob film and was thankful that I did because the 1490kbps 640x480 quality was a hell of a lot more satisfying. I can't tell you why an old film is listed as the most newly added one. Quality is amateur, and it looks like Dean shoots most of the video himself.
The 750x500 digital stills aren't bad, but you'll need to look around for them because most of the sets are really shitty screencaps that were a waste of my time. In fact, only five sets are worth a look and like the videos, the best sets seem to be the oldest ones. It's a strange way to set up a site in my opinion. I wasn't thrilled.
Final Verdict:
Dean's Boys really isn't very exciting. Sure, there are a handful of cute guys, many who appear in more than one movie or set of photos, but the quality is totally inconsistent, there's not enough content to last you a month let alone three and I personally wouldn't hold my breath for updates. Sure, something might be added in a few months, but judging from the most recent content on Dean's Boys, I wouldn't count on it being recent or even very good. My verdict is save your money.
